From Year 7 all the way to Sixth Form, Leah has been an integral part of the RMS community. As she prepares to take her next big step, we sat down with her to reflect on her time at school, her incredible academic achievements, and what lies ahead.
Academic Excellence and Society Leadership
Leah’s hard work and dedication have truly paid off. She achieved an outstanding set of A Level results—A* A* A* in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish.
Her passion for science and the environment shone brightly throughout her time in the Sixth Form. As President of the MedVetDent Society and an Eco Prefect, Leah took full advantage of the opportunities available at RMS to explore her interests, develop leadership skills, and pinpoint her career path.
“At RMS, my teachers and form tutor did an incredible job supporting me through revision, university applications, and so much more. I was provided with so many opportunities to develop my interests and find what I was passionate about.”
A Welcoming Community
Beyond academic success, the strong sense of togetherness is what made Leah’s Sixth Form experience truly memorable.
“My favourite part of RMS Sixth Form was the community! I am so grateful to have made so many lovely friends throughout my experience here. The people are so welcoming—I felt at home right away.”
Looking to the Future
Leah is now heading off to the University of Warwick to study an integrated Master’s degree in Biochemistry. She is excited to explore a new city, meet new people, and dive deeper into the microscopic world of biosciences.
When asked what advice she would give to prospective students, Leah didn’t hesitate:
“To anyone considering RMS for Sixth Form, definitely go for it! You will develop vital skills for your future, discover new interests, and have so many amazing experiences along the way.”
