Prize Day Returns to the Great Hall
RMS held its annual Upper School Prize Day, offering a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our Year 10, Year 11, and Year 12 pupils from the previous academic year.
The event featured captivating performances by our talented RMS Voices choir, the harmonious RMS Sinfonia, a stunning solo, and inspiring readings.
Our guest speaker, Carolyn Dawson OBE, CEO of Founders Forum Group, shared her remarkable journey from her roots in Wales to her time at RMS. Carolyn Dawson, graduated from RMS in 1996, is now the CEO of Founders Forum Group, a global network and consortium of businesses dedicated to nurturing and supporting entrepreneurs on their unique journeys. Carolyn’s work is deeply focused on broadening the horizons of the tech community and ensuring that it is inclusive for all.
In 2022, Carolyn was awarded an OBE for her services to London Tech Week and to Technology and Digital Media. Having led London Tech Week for seven years, she has been instrumental in elevating its global profile and driving its mission to showcase the best of UK technology.
Following the Prize Giving Ceremony, a spectacular Drill performance took place, marking the return of both Drill and Prize Day to the Great Hall. Pupils, staff, and visitors were able to experience this cherished school tradition in its historic setting once again.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all the prize winners and a well-deserved ‘well done’ to all our pupils for their hard work and dedication throughout the previous school year.
