Award Winning Author Visits RMS

Penny Joelson visited RMS to deliver a talk and share an extract of her book to our Year 8 and 9 pupils. 

Penny is an author specialising in young adult thrillers and mystery novels. She has created three captivating novels: ‘Things the Eye Can’t See’, ‘The Girl Who Wasn’t There’, and the award-winning ‘I Have No Secrets’. These stories are narrated from the perspectives of unique protagonists whose voices are often overlooked.

During the event, Penny engaged with our pupils, sharing extracts from her book and discussing the works that have influenced her writing. The session ended with an interactive Q&A, allowing pupils to ask Penny questions about her career and life.

To conclude the event, the pupils were given the chance to have their books signed by Penny, which was a fantastic opportunity!
