After much anticipation and meticulous planning, The Hive is now officially open for business, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the RMS community through its doors!
The buzz around The Hive has been infectious, especially among our vibrant Sixth Form students, who have already embraced this fantastic space as their own.
The cafe provides the perfect new study spot with some of the comfiest seating, as well as the best place to hang out with friends when we just need a break. It acts as the perfect mix between formal study spaces like the roof room and the study rooms, and informal study spaces such as the cafe. My go-to drink is definitely the Chai Latte, particularly as the weather begins to get a bit more autumnal (and it tastes great with a croissant from the cafe) - I've heard it's definitely a favourite amongst the year group!

My favourite item on the menu has to be the Bronte Cookie, I have it almost everyday! I also love the atmosphere of the cafe, the staff are always so sweet and welcoming, their smiles make my day!

But that’s not all! The Hive is just one piece of our exciting expansion puzzle. We’ve introduced a state-of-the-art conference room, designed to foster collaboration and ignite creative thinking. There’s also a dedicated ‘futures’ centre, ready to guide our students on their journey towards post-secondary success. And for those moments of serenity, we’ve crafted a soothing Wellbeing Space, promoting mental and emotional wellness.
In addition to all these exciting developments, we’re immensely proud to partner with “Change Please Coffee.” Not only does this partnership ensure that you get to savour top-notch coffee, but it also means that 100% of their profits go toward providing people experiencing homelessness with a chance for a better life – offering jobs, housing, training, and ongoing opportunities.
Our commitment to empowering students with a transformative education, equipping them to excel and lead, is at the heart of everything we do. Stay tuned, as we’ll be sharing more about the remarkable renovations happening in other parts of our school very soon. The future at RMS is looking brighter than ever!
