RMS is proud to announce that three of our talented alumnae have been named Runners-Up in the recent 2025 Specialist Crafts Catalogue Competition. Their outstanding artwork has been selected for inclusion in the company’s 2025 catalogue and their online showcase.
The annual competition, run by Specialist Crafts in partnership with Dryad Education, attracts entries from young artists across the country. Achieving a Runner-Up spot is a fantastic achievement – a testament to the students’ skill, dedication, and creativity.
The three alumnae, all of whom have gone on to pursue prestigious paths in the creative arts, are:
- Tilly O’Shea: Currently furthering her passion at Central Saint Martins (UAL), studying Fashion.
- Helena Burns: Excelling in Fine Art at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
- Rosie Booth: Also pursuing her Fine Art studies at University.

The competition provides valuable prizes, including monetary awards and vouchers, which benefit the winning artists and their respective institutions. However, the most coveted prize is the high-profile feature in the catalogue, which reaches thousands of art educators and enthusiasts nationwide.
To see Tilly, Helena, and Rosie continue to thrive beyond RMS is truly encouraging. We are incredibly proud of all of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them shine in their future careers.
The artwork of all three former students, along with other winners and runners-up, will be officially displayed online and featured in the new Specialist Crafts catalogues starting Tuesday, December 10th. We encourage our entire school community to keep an eye out for the new catalogue and visit the Specialist Crafts website to view the stunning pieces.
