Over the weekend we hosted the annual Prefect Leadership Day, collaborating with students from John Hampden Grammar School and Merchant Taylors’.

For the first time in over a decade, RMS emerged victorious, winning the Leadership Day Trophy!

The day was packed with various challenges, such as a blindfolded obstacle course, a presentation of the students’ vision for their school’s development, orienteering, and civilised discussions.

These activities enabled the RMS Prefect Leadership Team to enhance their teamwork skills and build trust among one another.

At RMS, formal leadership positions available to Sixth Form include head pupils, deputy head pupils, prefects, subject ambassadors, sports captains and mentors. We are firm believers in collective leadership and want all our students to play their part in making RMS a better place.

The day concluded with a formal meal, providing students with an opportunity to discuss their highlights of the day, future goals and aspirations.

A huge thank you to the Sixth Form team for organising this event and to those at JHGS and MTS for joining in the fun!

We are excited to announce that RMS Sixth Form was highly commended in the ‘Awesome Sixth Form’ category at the Muddy Stilettos Awards! Join us for our Sixth Form Preview event in October to experience firsthand what makes our Sixth Form truly outstanding. Click here to register!
