County Swimming Success for Amy (Year 7)

Congratulations to Amy in Year 7 who won EIGHT medals at the recent Hertfordshire County Swim Championships.

Amy competed in events in all four strokes ranging in distance from 50m sprints to the gruelling 800m freestyle and came away with the following medals:

• 4 golds (100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 400m Individual Medley, 800m freestyle)
• 2 silver (50m backstroke, 400m Freestyle)
• 2 bronze (200m freestyle, 200m Individual Medley)

In addition to this, Amy has qualified to swim in the East Regional Championships in Norwich in May in the 100m backstroke event.
