Author Nicola Baker visited Cadogan House this morning to talk to pupils from Years 2 – 6 about her career and latest book; ‘Finding Hope’.
Nicola and Matt, along with their two children, are the stars of the Channel 4 television series ‘Our Farm in The Dales’, where they showcase life on their farm. When she’s not mucking out chickens or feeding the sheep Nicola is writing adventure stories for children.
Nicola shared insights about her writing process and answered many questions from the pupils.
With help from some willing volunteers, Nicola created a new story idea about a detective unraveling a chocolate themed mystery in the woods.
To conclude the event, Nicola signed copies of her book ‘Finding Hope’, which is the first book in a series set on ‘Whistledown Farm’.
