Wow – what a jam packed few days the girls have had here in Beijing!
Bright and very, very early Monday morning, the girls headed to school. Excitement filled the bus and the singing was in full flow as we pulled out of the hotel car park keen to get to school…. only to be met by the Beijing traffic! Needless to say, it was a slow and steady journey! The girls have thrown themselves into school life here at Harrow Beijing and come back at the end of each day with stories galore.
Monday night saw dinner at the Kro's Nest, a restaurant famous for its sizeable pizzas, which managed to defeat even our girls. Wednesday night was 'girls night out'!! After a quick visit to a Chinese supermarket to top up the snack provisions, where the girls were told by a local that they were 'all so beautiful', we indulged in noodles and dumplings at a local restaurant over lots of laughter and chatter… much to the amusement of the staff!
