Today, Head of Teaching and Learning at Leiths Academy, Alistair Turner, shared his expertise with our Year 12 students.
Students got the chance to explore Italian Cuisine during today’s session, making Linguine Puttanesca, Panzanella Salad and Strawberry ice cream.
This course will culminate in a practical exam in June, which will be examined and marked by Leiths’ visiting tutors.
The successful students will receive the ‘Introduction to Confident Cookery Certificate’ and be eligible to be included on the Leiths list, where they would have the opportunity to cook for external clients.
