At RMS we strongly believe that learning should happen everywhere and anywhere, especially in the great outdoors.
Our pupils love exploring our breathtaking campus, including our Forest School, during their RMSGo lessons.
This week Reception combined astronomy with an adventure amidst our stunning school grounds. Constructing constellations using sticks, stones and leaves and even designing their very own star-studded creations, including an envelope, rabbits and flowers.
Year 1 went on a rather wintery walk during a chilly RMS Go session, soaking up the striking beauty of ice. The grounds shone and sparkled as they searched for signs of the season.
Pupils from Ruspini ventured outside and spent time chatting about all the incredible animals we share our grounds with, thinking about how they look after themselves during winter. We discovered that hedgehogs are one of only three mammals in the UK to hibernate.
Inspired, the pupils made their own happy hedgehogs out of materials found as they walked.
