To celebrate this success, we spoke with members of the class of 2025 to learn about their exciting next steps and how RMS has played a pivotal role in shaping their futures.
Here’s Lottie’s story:
Hi, my name is Carlotta, and I’m going to the University of St Andrews to study Spanish and Chinese.
What was your favourite part of RMS Sixth Form?
I would say my favourite thing about RMS Sixth Form is the academic freedom you get. You have so many more opportunities to expand your research and study your subjects in so much more depth, which is just such an amazing thing to do.
How has RMS supported you during school?
Throughout my time at RMS, my main support has come from my amazing teachers, they’ve always been there to support me through anything I’ve been struggling with academically, personally. The support network among teachers and Students is such a tight knit community and it definitely helps encourage students to succeed.
What would you say to someone considering RMS Sixth Form?
Absolutely, come to RMS for Sixth Form, it’s an amazing experience, it was my best academic experience to say the least, you would absolutely love it, come to RMS for Sixth Form.
What are you most looking forward to in your next steps?
I’m most excited to get up to Scotland and get up to St Andrews to begin my University life and to study my course. I absolutely love my subjects and the opportunity to learn Spanish and Chinese in such an amazing school and my year abroad, I can’t wait to get there!
