Throughout the month of March, a number of staff from across the School are taking part in Cancer Research UK’s ‘Walk All Over Cancer’ event.
Each participant will be walking 10,000 steps every day to raise much-needed funds for the critical work done by Cancer Research UK.
Every year, more than 385,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. This means that all of us will be impacted by cancer at some point in our lives, whether that be as a patient or through supporting a family member, friend or colleague through their own diagnosis and treatment. Thanks to groundbreaking research in cancer treatment and care, so many of those who are diagnosed are able to recover fully and return to full, healthy lives. There is further to go to keep improving the outcomes for those who receive a cancer diagnosis, and this is why we are combining our efforts to raise vital funds that will go directly to supporting this critical work.
We are really excited to be raising funds for such a worthy cause which is close to so many of our hearts. Please support us by donating to our group fundraising page and by following our efforts on social media.
Thank you so much in advance for your support.
