During the half-term break, Blitz and Mercury racing, made up of pupils from Year 8 and Year 10, participated in the F1 in Schools competition at the Bristol Science Park.
We caught up with Team Mercury to hear about their competition experience:
After an early start, we arrived in Bristol and set up our pit display area and portfolios. Following the registration and welcome ceremony, we presented verbally and then participated in the race with our unique car. Our portfolios and identity were judged, and the day concluded with an awards ceremony where unfortunately, we didn't win any awards. Nonetheless, we're extremely proud of our progress and journey to the F1 in schools competition.
