The RMS History Department was recently transformed by a sea of battlements and keeps as Year 7 unveiled their incredible home-built castle models.
Using a vast array of materials, pupils were tasked with bringing medieval history to life. Our Year 12 History Ambassadors had the difficult task of judging the entries, looking for structural integrity and historical flair across three categories:
- Most Unique Design
- Most Historically Accurate
- Most Environmentally Friendly
A few of the castles created and some of the Year 7 pupils invloved.
Congratulations to all who participated for such a high standard of work. Special recognition goes to our winners and runners-up: Zara, Chloe, Sophie, Bella, Eden, Jessica, Olivia, and Ellen. Well done to Year 7 for their hard work, and thank you to the Year 12s for their expert judging!
