The Year 12 students at RMS embarked on an exciting culinary journey as they took part in their first Leiths Academy practical, held in the school’s brand-new, state-of-the-art Food & Nutrition kitchen.
This practical marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the Year 12 students, who will continue to refine their skills as they progress through the Leiths Academy syllabus.
The session proved to be a delightful and engaging experience, with students learning valuable skills that will undoubtedly boost their culinary expertise and confidence in the kitchen, as they prepared a delicious Toad in the Hole with Cavolo Nero and Gravy.
A huge thank you goes out to the Food & Nutrition Department for their dedication and for creating such an inspiring learning environment.
We look forward to seeing what delicious dishes the Leiths Students create next!
