Starting Year 7 is an exciting milestone, and at RMS, we’re all about making that transition a positive experience.
At our Year 7 Familiarisation Day, new students get to meet their form tutors and each other, forging new friendships and getting a taste of what life at RMS is truly like. As one student put it in a recent video, the most enjoyable part is “getting to know the people and doing all the activities.”
What sets RMS apart is our commitment to encouraging every student to discover their passions and be themselves. Beyond the academics, we offer a unique and engaging environment.
Did you know that we have our own snake, Justin Timbersnake, a beehive, and even a planetarium? These distinctive facilities help us to not just focus on learning but also to encourage students to enjoy the world around them.
The supportive community at RMS ensures that every child is looked at as an individual. We pride ourselves on the exceptional pastoral care and on catering to each student’s unique learning needs. Our facilities and extensive grounds provide a welcoming space for children to grow and develop. As one parent shared, watching their child at RMS is like seeing her “grow wings and fly”, taking every opportunity the school has to offer.
For both students and parents, the first day of Year 7 at RMS marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter. It’s a place where every child is given the chance to thrive.
