In Cadogan House (our Prep School), we believe in igniting the spark in every student. It’s about discovering what truly “lights their candle” each morning. Our broad and rich curriculum gives pupils the opportunity to explore a huge variety of subjects and extracurricular clubs, helping them to find what they love through our thoughtful personalised learning approach.

What makes RMS special is a supportive community where everybody feels seen and heard. Our students are encouraged to share their challenges, targets, and ambitions without fear. We understand that every individual learns differently, and our teachers are dedicated to breaking down concepts to ensure a deeper understanding for all. This tailored approach helps students to push their limits, work hard, and achieve anything they set their minds to.

Central to this philosophy is the Pupil Passport, a unique tool our students complete with the guidance of their teachers. This passport helps them reflect on their own learning styles, enabling a truly personalised education. It’s a place where students feel connected, and it gives staff members a clear insight into how pupils are feeling and thinking.

We also offer a strong emotional support system through our ELSA (Emotional Learning Support Assistant) programme. ELSAs work one-to-one with pupils on a 10-12 week programme to help them build a vital emotional toolkit and develop resilience. This support ensures that every student feels empowered to overcome difficulties and thrive.
