RMS for Girls is delighted to announce another exceptional year of A-level results. What truly stands out is the vast array of exciting opportunities our students are undertaking. The variety of destinations and courses is a testament to our school’s commitment to enabling every pupil to thrive and shape their unique future.
To celebrate this success, we spoke with members of the class of 2025 to learn about their exciting next steps and how RMS has played a pivotal role in shaping their futures.
Here’s Rey’s story:
Hi, my name is Rey. At RMS, I studied photography, drama and history A-level and achieved A*AB.
I am going to Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where I will pursue a liberal arts degree, aiming to major in Film.
How has RMS supported you during school?
RMS provided me with the resources to reach my potential. They supported me in my application to an international university; they supported me as an athlete, helping me balance my schoolwork with my competitions and training. My teachers created engaging lessons that I enjoyed, helping my interest in my subjects grow and flourish. Notably, I am very grateful that each of my teachers would make sure that I was keeping on top of my work and would volunteer lunchtimes or free periods to help me, so thank you Mrs Eccles, Mrs Hayes, Ms Newby, Mr Wordsworth, Ms Lawrence and Mr Callinicos!
What would you say to someone considering RMS Sixth Form?
I would say to someone considering RMS for Sixth Form that you will not only receive excellent teaching, but also an encouraging environment to achieve both in academics and extracurricular activities.
What are you most looking forward to in your next steps?
In my next step I am next forward to pursuing my liberal arts studies and more academic opportunities, developing my passion for film. I am also excited to explore the US and fence for the LU fencing team, and continue to pursue my goal of becoming a professional athlete!
