RMS for Girls is delighted to announce another exceptional year of A-level results. What truly stands out is the vast array of exciting opportunities our students are undertaking. To celebrate this success, we spoke with members of the class of 2025 to learn about their exciting next steps and how RMS has played a pivotal role in shaping their futures.
Here’s Melania’s Story
Hi I am Melania and I have been at RMS since year 3. I am going to study Human, Social, and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge. At A level I achieved A*AA.
What was your favourite part of RMS Sixth Form?
RMS Sixth Form was definitely the highlight of my RMS experience. What truly made RMS Sixth Form special for me was the supportive community, both friends and teachers, who were always there to help me with whatever I needed. I loved the flexibility within Sixth Form, where I was supported in changing my subjects in year 12 as I was unsure with what I wanted to do. I also enjoyed the freedom in my timetable which enabled me to use my study periods to focus on my University application or take some time to have a break.
What would you say to someone considering RMS Sixth Form?
If you are considering RMS Sixth Form I say go for it! I had such an amazing two years in a wonderful community where I have definitely made life long memories and friendships. I was able to immerse myself in numerous opportunities, with a highlight being my leadership role as Deputy Head Pupil of Belonging. In this role I was able to share my passion for diversity and inclusion with the wider RMS community. RMS Sixth Form truly values you as an individual and highlights your strengths.
What are you most looking forward to in your next steps?
I am looking forward to starting my new chapter at Cambridge because it is a new environment where I will have the opportunity to meet world class lecturers, like minded people, dive deeper into subjects I love and of course have lots of fun! I can’t wait to start the next chapter in my journey and I am excited to see where this leads me to next!
