There were celebrations all around Hind House today as we celebrated our Year 13 students’ successful A-level results. These fantastic results reflect two years of hard work and dedication from this year’s cohort, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.

What truly stands out is the vast array of exciting opportunities our students are undertaking. The variety of destinations and courses is a testament to our school’s commitment to enabling every pupil to thrive and shape their unique future.

A record-breaking number of students are heading to universities overseas, with destinations including the American University of Paris, the University of Venice, Lawrence University in the USA, Vancouver University and an exciting GAP year at Harrow International School in Hong Kong. Several students received merit and sports scholarships, including a place at New York University (NYU).

I am extremely proud of and pleased for our students and their successes. At RMS, we say that ‘every pupil thrives’ and that each is ‘prepared to shape their unique future,’ and the variety of destinations at international and UK universities and incredible workplace opportunities is a testament to that.

Closer to home, our students have secured places at top UK institutions such as Oxford, St Andrews, Durham, SOAS, UCL, and Warwick. The impressive range of subjects they will pursue is just as varied, including everything from architecture to neuroscience and pure mathematics to mechanical engineering. Several students will be studying to become doctors at Imperial and the University of East Anglia (UEA), while others will be attending musical conservatoires and highly competitive Art courses after a successful year in Art, Textiles, and Photography.

Some of our leavers are also launching their careers with incredible opportunities, including a place on the highly competitive British Airways Speedbird Academy, which had over 20,000 applicants for the 2026 intake, and a prestigious law degree apprenticeship with Forsters.

I was thrilled to see the sheer joy and excitement of the students and parents this morning as they opened their results. This is a group of students who threw themselves into the life of the Sixth Form, and whilst their academic success is undeniable, who they have become as individuals through their experiences over the last 2 years is a credit to them, their parents and RMS as a whole.

- Mrs Clare Freeman, Head of Sixth Form

Congratulations and well done to all of our Year 13 students. We can’t wait to hear what the future holds for each of you.
