RMS for Girls is delighted to announce another exceptional year of A-level results, with our students achieving higher value added than 90% of independent schools in the UK.
To celebrate this success, we spoke with members of the class of 2024 to learn about their exciting next steps and how RMS has played a pivotal role in shaping their futures.
Here’s Maya’s story.
Maya, can you tell us about your results and what you are doing next?
I am super happy with my A-level results! I’m off to UCL and I’m going to study American history and politics.
What are you looking forward to the most about your next step?
I am really looking forward to making lots of new friends and joining lots of societies. I’m really glad that I get to study history and politics, as they are subjects that I love.
What’s been your favourite thing about RMS Sixth Form?
My favourite part of RMS Sixth Form has to be being Head Pupil, because I got to know so many different people throughout the Sixth Form and the whole school.
[Being Head Pupil] gave me a lot of confidence in myself

How has RMS supported you during your time at the School?
RMS has supported me so much since Year 7. I joined the school not being the most confident student but…
the teachers believed in me throughout my entire time at the School, which is what I needed to grow in my confidence and become the person I am today and take the leap and apply to universities like UCL
What would you say to someone who is considering Sixth Form at RMS?
One of the great things about Sixth Form here at RMS is that you get to know your teachers really well
This is so important in making sure that your journey throughout the sixth form is as strong as it can be, and you can get the result that you want.
