Yesterday evening our elite athletes were treated to an inspiring talk by Kate Haywood, double Olympian, Commonwealth, World and European Medalist.
Kate broke through to senior swimming as a 15-year-old at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, helping the England 4x100m medley relay team scoop a bronze medal.
A true tale of triumph through adversity, Kate retold her journey of overcoming a potential career-ending hip injury to then bouncing back winning medals at the European Championships and at her third Commonwealth Games.
Working with Limitless Kit, Kate and the team are passionate about creating comfortable and appropriate clothing for athletes, making sure no one stops training because of the kit they are wearing.
