Head of Prep School
Mrs Melanie Horn, BEd
Having completed her secondary education here at RMS, Melanie studied Primary Education at the University of Wales, Bangor.
She strongly believes in the importance of offering everyone a wide range of opportunities and encourages each pupil in Cadogan House to aim high and discover new skills.
Melanie has a passion for children’s literature and enjoys discovering new texts.
Before joining RMS Melanie taught in both the state and independent sectors, most recently as Assistant Head, Pre Prep at St Martin’s School in Northwood.
She was delighted to have the opportunity to join the RMS community having very fond memories of her time as a pupil.
Melanie lives locally with her two children, one of whom is a pupil at RMS, and enjoys exploring the Chiltern countryside and pottering in her garden at the weekends.
