Cross Country
Our U18 runners took part in the 2020 Hertfordshire Schools’ Cross Country last Saturday. There were great performances from all the RMS athletes who were seemingly not affected by the high winds, rain and hills. We are waiting to hear how many of them made it to the National Championships. Watch this space.
Gymnastics
In gymnastics at the Milano Trio Competition, which took place last Sunday, the RMS senior gymnasts all won medals with national qualifiers in the Under 11, Under 13, Under 16 and Under 19 categories. The Cadogan A team gymnasts secured first place and have qualified for the National competition and the B team coming a very close fourth. Fantastic results, congratulations!
RMS took a large squad of students ranging from Year 4 to Year 12 to the Eastern Region Schools’ Acro and Tumbling Competition on January 26th – you can see the full squad on Twitter.
Netball
On Tuesday Year 10 netballers played well against St. Joan of Arc Catholic School securing a 21-16 win.
Hockey
This week the Year 8 team won (2-0) against Parmiter’s School in the County Cup. In the same competition Year 7 also won (1-0) against Beaumont School.
Individual Success
Well done to Reya, who won gold in the Eastern Region Fencing Under 14 Women’s Épée Championships, as well as representing RMS at the Hertfordshire Schools’ Cross Country Championships.
