Year 5 pupils showcased their creativity and fundraising skills by hosting their Enterprise Challenge Sale this week.
5R in Cadogan House have spent the past half term working on an Easter Enterprise Challenge with Miss Pickford and Mrs Emmerson. Which followed on from 5M who completed a similar Christmas themed challenge last term.
This initiative not only provided invaluable exposure to enterprise but also engaged pupils in essential tasks such as business planning, budgeting, product development, and sales.
It gives you a sense of responsibility and improves your teamwork
- Thea, Year 5
Adding to the entrepreneurial spirit, our Sixth Form enterprise teams, Locker Luxe and Team Looped, also set up their own stalls, serving as exemplary role models for the Year 5’s.
A total of £220 profit was made from the sale, which is being divided between the school charity, Herts Young Homeless, RSPCA and The Tree Council.
Congratulations to the Year 5 and Year 12 students for showcasing their entrepreneurial flair with such enthusiasm!
A big thank you to Miss Pickford for instilling an entrepreneurial mindset across the whole school community
